This morning set off on your journey by road, leaving the cityscapes of Ho Chi Minh behind as you make your way to the Mekong Delta. Your first stop is Cai Be where a boat ride through the floating market is the perfect introduction to this colorful region. Tour the area's cottage industries and cruise on to a small, scenic island before returning to land for the drive to Can Tho.

An early morning wake up will be rewarded with a boat cruise through Cai Rang floating market. After exploring the maze of vendors, return to Can Tho for lunch followed by a drive to Chau Doc. Stop en route in Long Thanh, a small town whose handcrafted baskets are famous in the delta for their intricate craftsmanship.

Spend today exploring Chau Doc and its surroundings. Embark on a boat trip to a unique village inhabited by the Cham people and discover their fantastic silk weaving skills. a boat to Chau Giang District where a tiny mosque serves the local Cham community. Continue to a Khmer Temple, floating fish farms and on to Sam Mountain in time to catch the sun set over the countryside.
