Season/When to go? 
Hoi An experiences warm weather from July to October and wet, colder weather from November to May.  Frequent typhoons hit the central coast from August to October which can cause flooding in Hoi An’s old town and make the waters at Cua Dai beach too rough for swimming. 

The Chinese new year of Tet is celebrated throughout Vietnam in late January or early February.  During this time, transport options fill up quickly and lots of restaurants and tourist sites are closed so it is not recommended to travel to Vietnam then.

The Hoi An Trails resort is located three kilometers from the UNESCO Heritage Site of Hoi An’s Old Town and one kilometer from the Cua Dai beach.  The nearest airport is located in Danang, a 45 minute drive.
