Day 1 - Arrive Bangkok
Day 2 - Bangkok (B,L)Today your Bangkok adventure begins with a walking tour of Chinatown, as you visit unique markets, Chinese temples and teashops. Travel through the city's famed canals and witness traditional Thai living before visiting the iconic Wat Arun. This afternoon, you're free to explore Bangkok's attractions at your own pace. Day 3 - Depart Bangkok - Ayuthaya - Uthai Thani (B,L,D)
Drive to legendary Ayutthaya, the capital of Thailand for more than 417 years, stopping at a tranquil former summer palace built by King Rama IV en route. You'll visit Ayuthaya Historical Park's ruined temples and sample some local delights in the muslim quarter. Enjoy a pleasant riverside lunch before boarding a leisurely longtail boat ride to Bang Pa where you can explore the majestic Royal mansions. Proceed to Uthai Thani in the afternoon. Overnight in Uthai Thani. Day 4 - Uthai Thani - Phitsanulok - Sukhothai (B,L)Head-up the mountain to visit Wat Sangklat Rattanakhiri, for the magnificant bird-eye view of Uthai Thani. We then head to see the Crystal and Golden Halls of Wat Tha Sung before continuing to Koh Tepo, a community famous for their incense stick making and local lifestyle. Enjoy lunch onboard the rice barge cruise while slowly flat on the Sakraekrang River. This afternoon, drive to Phitsanuloke to visit Thailand's most famous Buddha image and folk museum. Depart to Sukhothai in the late afternoon. Day 5 - Sukhothai (B)
Visit Ramkamhaeng National museum before proceeding to Sukhothai Historical Park, see the main sites and some important ruins. [Optional: Rice Planting Workshop and Organic Lunch The sumptuous local organic lunch is served in traditional Thai style at the open Sala overlooking the rice fields. Visit the seasonal orchid greenhouse, and see the live demonstration of the ceramic making and textile weaving. Then dress up in the distinctive indigo colored cotton Thai Farmer uniform and get the hands dirty in the organic rice farm transplanting rice seedlings, harvesting, or milling rice, there is also an opportunity to plough the paddies with water buffalo. Price: THB 900 per person (minimum 2 person) Note: If clients would like take the indigo farmer uniform back home it will have additional charge. ] Overnight in Sukhothai Day 6 - Sukhothai – Sri Satchanalai - Chiang Mai (B,L)A short drive north will bring you to the Si Satchanalai Historical Park on the bank of the Yom River. You'll enjoy a leisurely tour of this ancient town, where 134 ruined monuments have been discovered. After lunch you'll continue your overland adventure as we take you to check-in to your Chiang Mai hotel. Day 7 - Chiang Mai (B,L)
Day 8 - Chiang Mai - Elephant Camp (B,L)Enjoy a real Thailand experience today as we take you on an elephant ride though thick forests and visit a local elephant camp before heading to the Mae Ping River for a leisurely bamboo rafting ride. After lunch you'll visit a beautiful orchid nursery and a colorful butterfly farm. Overnight in Chiang Mai. Day 9 - Chiang Mai - Golden Triangle (B,L)
Day 10 - Chiang Rai - Mae Sai - Chiang Saen - Chiang Rai (B,L)After breakfast we'll bring you to bustling Mae Sai where you can check out an intriguing Burmese border market before heading to the infamous Golden Triangle. Find out about the area's sordid past at the Opium Museum then continue to the 13th century ruined city of Chiang Saen and the heart of the Golden Triangle. Your day of travel in Thailand ends with a boat ride along the Mekong River to get a closer look at Laos and Burma - experiential travel at its best. Day 11 - Chiang Rai - Departure (B)

On arrival in Bangkok you will be welcomed by your tour guide and taken to your boutique hotel. We will bring you to Wat Po, one of the oldest temples in Bangkok and home to the original school of traditional Thai massage. Then you'll enjoy a relaxed tour of the nearby Grand Palace, with its many colorful halls, temples and artifacts including the most revered Buddha image in Thailand.
Sukhothai is a name meaning dawn of happiness, was founded in the 13th century and became the kingdom's first capital, overseeing a period kown as the golden age of Thai history.
Spend this morning exploring Chiang Mai's sights and sounds as you visit ancient temples, markets, Thai style residential areas, unique architectural gems and bustling main street before heading to a local orphanage. This afternoon we will take you up the mountain to visit Wat Prathat Doi Suthep, the most famous and sacred temple in northern Thailand, as well as a traditional Hmong village.
Today you'll travel east by minivan to the lovely Mae Kampong village, which sits 1,300 meters above sea level and boasts a cool climate all year long. Upon arrival meet some of the villagers and learn more about Thai culture before visiting a local waterfall. After lunch and a short rest, you'll have a chance to enjoy the mountain scenery as we drive you to Chiang Rai.
