Upon your arrival at Chiang Mai Airport, you will be welcomed by your Exotissimo guide and transferred to your hotel. This afternoon, enjoy an orientation tour of the ancient Chiang Mai town on a trishaw. We will then drive up the mountain by songtaew to visit Chang Khien Coffee Research Project and Chang Khien white Hmong village. Late this afternoon, head to Wat Prathat Doi Suthep temple to view its glided architecture before taking part in a private blessing ceremony at dusk.

Overnight in Chiang Mai

This morning, drive north to a Lisu village where you will start a leisurely cycling excursion across the countryside. At Mae Taeng River, meet your elephant and ride on its back through the lush jungle to a scenic spot for picnic lunch. Following a brief training session, board a rubber raft and paddle down the meandering river. Disembark at an Akha hill tribe village to enjoy tea with a friendly family before cycling back to the Lisu village. Return to Chiang Mai late this afternoon.

Overnight in Chiang Mai

Today, drive through the picturesque countryside to Mae Kampong village in the mountains. You will be warmly received by the villagers who will lead you on a guided hike through the community forest to enjoy a picnic lunch by a cascading waterfall. There is time this afternoon for an exhilarating optional activity- The Flight of the Gibbon- a fun zip-line adventure over the tree tops. Then, return to the homestay to relax with a traditional Thai massage before joining your host family to prepare dinner.

Rise early this morning and enjoy a hot breakfast amidst the misty valley. Accompanied by your hosts, take a walk around the village to view the processing of fermented tea leaves and making of various handicrafts. Then, return to Chiang Mai with a stop en-route at Sankampaeng Hot Springs, a popular recreation spot for locals. Finally, transfer to the Chiang Mai Airport for your onwards flight.
