The island is fringed by white sands and palm trees and surrounded by the waters of the Khao Laem Ya National Marine Park, which are filled with abundant marine life and colorful coral.

For a short beach break my favorite destination is Koh Samed as it has everything I need without feeling touristy.

There are some good resorts, the water is always warm and clear and the beaches are just what you expect for a Thai paradise beach island.

For a longer beach holiday I think Phuket is just unbeatable. The island is big enough so that you don't feel cramped and it is easy to find a secluded beach resort like Anantara or Indigo Pearl. Plus there is plenty to do and we have developed a great selection of unique tours to keep even the most active travelers busy for a week or more.
