This 42-room enchanting boutique property offers the sublime luxury of classic Thai architecture, refined hospitality and all the conveniences of the modern world.

Spread around a leafy courtyard like a typical Yunnanese village in Southern China, the property is designed in the traditional Tai architectural style with distinctive peaked roofs, manicured gardens and streaming lanterns. A focal point of the verdant property is the huge Yaang-naa tree - after which the property is named - which has been standing for more than forty years.

The 42 rooms and suites are set in low-rise buildings surrounding the swimming pool. Cream tones, terracotta tiles, vaulted ceilings and teakwood furnishings make up the expansive, airy interiors. Walls graced with Lanna portraits, silk cushions and intricate hand-woven runners add a dash of intimate elegance and Northern Thai charm to the bedrooms. Oversized bathrooms boast of separate showers, and balconies open into views of immaculate grounds of verdant palms and fragipanni trees.

The swimming pool is a striking rectangular of blue fringed by lounge chairs and shady trees. Outdoor dining, amid the atmospheric courtyard of parasol-shaded tables and hanging octagonal lanterns, is a particularly recommended experience.
