BaganBagan offers a unique travel experience to those that make the journey to this spectacular plain in central Myanmar. A place that captures the heart of any visitor with its peppering of sun kissed temples, crumbling architecture and friendly communities. You begin your journey with a horsecart ride around Bagan for an authentic and memorable start to this tour of Myanmar. We travel between a number of villages and pagodas before residing at a temple to watch a spectacular sunset over the plain from its veranda. Continue your tour of Myanmar by further exploring the temples of Bagan. With over 2000 and a number of quaint villages and local workshops there is plenty to see and do. Then we visit some child friendly pagodas where glittering gold colored stupas can be admired. We also venture into Kyan Sitthar cave temple, walking through the tunnel-like corridors and viewing the fading paintings on the ceiling. A short stop at Lawkanandar Sanctuary is always popular with children, this animal sanctuary is home to several unique star tortoises. Leaving the temples behind, we begin the drive to Mt Popa and check into Popa Mountain Resort.
