Ho Chi Minh City - Phu Quoc - Kep - Kirirom - Phnom Penh - Kampong Thom - Siem Reap - Bangkok

Between the cosmopolitan metropolises of Ho Chi Minh City and Bangkok lies the comparatively tranquil country of Cambodia.  As you travel from east to west, experience cultures and lands that are diverse and intriguing.  Exotissimo invites you along on a journey to unveil the true essence of South Vietnam and Cambodia.

Begin with a tour of Ho Chi Minh City where gleaming skyscrapers and vibrant nightlife reflect the country's modern ambition while exploring the local markets and side streets immerses you in the rich Vietnamese traditions that remain strong to this day. Take an excursion to the nearby Cu Chi Tunnels which proffer sobering glimpses into the nation's recent war history.

A short flight takes you to Phu Quoc Island where pristine tropical beaches and cobalt waters of the Gulf of Thailand beckon.  For those seeking a bit more adventure, a jeep tour through the island's jungle interior is a fabulous way to see the traditional local lifestyles and cottage industries.

Return to land and cross the border to Cambodia's seaside town of Kep before continuing overland to Kirirom National Park.  Nestled in the Cardoman Mountains, a light trek through Kirirom reveals cascading waterfalls and lush pine forests filled with indigenous wildlife.

Travel to Phnom Penh where the Cambodian capital is progressing rapidly in to a modern city, yet touches of old world charm are still found at every turn in this city dotted with colonial era buildings.  As you continue on your way to Siem Reap stop in the provincial town of Kampong Thom and explore the ancient ruins of Sambor Prey Kuk temples that predate the famous Angkor Wat.

Your final destination in Cambodia is the former capital of Siem Reap, home to the fabled Temples of Angkor.  Combine an in-depth temple tour with other memorable activities such as a boat trip through the floating villages of Tonle Sap and a trek to Kbal Spean, the 'River of 1000 Lingas'.
