Starting in Phnom Penh, guests visit the National Museum which houses the world's foremost collection of ancient Khmer art, archaeological and religious artifacts from the 4th to 13th centuries. Enjoy an atmospheric sunset river cruise and watch how Phnom Penh's popular riverfront awakens to life. From Phnom Penh we head to Siem Reap and discover the ruins of Angkor Wat, including a day spent exploring the overgrown temple of Beng Mealea. Then it's off to Tonle Sap Lake where you board a local boat and visit Kampong Kleang to see a village where the houses are on stilts.
Fly from Siem Reap to Myanmar and step into the wonderful world of Burmese culture and stunning heritage. Visit the revered Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon then head up to Inle Lake. Spend 2 nights at the lake then fly to Mandalay and explore the former capitals of Amarapura, Ava and Sagaing. Cruise the Irrawaddy River and tour the impressive temples of Bagan before heading back to Yangon in this memorable tour of Cambodia and Myanmar. Day 1 - Phnom Penh Arrival
Take a cyclo tour of Phnom Penh and visit Wat Phnom before cruising along the riverfront to the Royal Palace. Also visit the National Museum that was built in traditional Khmer style.

Visit the remarkable Tuol Sleng Genocide museum to learn about Cambodia's turbulent past. We also visit the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek before heading to Stung Meanchey, home to the children's chrity, Pour Un Soire d'Enfant.
Overnight in Phnom Penh. Day 3 - Siem Reap Arrival (B)
Transfer to Siem Reap and visit the Skun Spider Sanctuary en-route. Explore the temples of Angkor Wat by tuk tuk with an expert guide.
Overnight in Siem Reap. Day 4 - Siem Reap (B)
Head out on a day of discovery as you explore the overgrown temple of Beng Mealea. Take a boat trip on Tonle Sap and visit Kampong Kleang, a village built on stilts.
Overnight in Siem Reap. Day 5 - Siem Reap - Yangon (B)
Transfer to Myanmar and spend the afternoon wondering the streets of the impressive colonial city of Yangon. Steeped in heritage and an enticing culture, guests finish the day with a visit to Shwedagon Pagoda.
Overnight in Yangon. Day 6 - Yangon - Heho - Inle Lake (B)
Fly to Heho and board a private motorboat to take you across Inle Lake. Observe the one leg-rowing fishermen and see their floating gardens. Visit Nga Hpe Chaung Monastery, which houses dozens of Shan Buddha Images, but is more famous for its unique 'jumping cats'.
Overnight on Inle Lake. Day 7 - Inle Lake - In Dein - Inle Lake (B)
Visit the lake's morning market which rotates its location around the lake's villages in a 5 day cycle. Explore the Pa-Oh Village on foot, visit a local school and wander through the beautiful Alaung Sitthou area.
Overnight Inle Lake. Day 8 - Inle Lake - Heho - Mandalay (B)
Fly to Mandalay and after refreshing yourself at the hotel it's time to watch the sun set over the city and Irrawaddy River.
Overnight in Mandalay. Day 9 - Mandalay - Amarapura - Ava - Sagaing - Mandalay (B)
Explore Mandalay and the former capitals of Amarapura, Ava and Sagaing. Watch the sunset in the evening from the spectacular wooden teak U Bein Bridge.
Overnight in Mandalay. Day 10 - Mandalay - Mingun - Mandalay (B)
Board a private local boat for a 1hr cruise on the Irrawaddy River to Mingun and visit the famous sites of Pahtodawqyi and Hsinbyume Pagoda. Continue to Shwenandaw Monastery, the only remaining building from the 19th century Royal Palace.
Overnight in Mandalay. Day 11 - Mandalay - Monywa - Powintaung - Monywa (B)
This morning, depart Mandalay for a 3-hour drive to Monywa, a typical Burmese town on the banks of the Chindwin River. On the way, visit Thanboddhay Pagoda and Boditahtaung Pagoda which houses the largest reclining Buddha image in Myanmar.
Overnight in Monywa. Day 12 - Monyway - Pakkoku - Bagan (B)
See farmers climbing palm trees near Ah Nyeint, from which they extract juice to produce palm tree sugar. Enjoy a short rickshaw ride through the town of Ah Myint before continuing to the port at Pakkoku. This afternoon we board a local boat in Pakkoku for a leisurely, two hour cruise downriver to Bagan.
Overnight in Bagan. Day 13 - Bagan (B)
Today explore the wonders of Bagan with a full-day tour blending history, culture and local lifestyles. Your journey begins with a visit to Thagyar Pone Pagoda for spectacular views over the surrounding plains. Visit a number of temples and stupas during the day, finishing with a breathtaking sunset from a temple terrace.

Choose from three excursions today that include temple touring, a visit to nearby town or bike ride. Overnight in Bagan. Day 15 - Bagan - Yangon (B)
Transfer to Nyaung Oo airport for a flight to Yangon. In Yangon we take a sightseeing walk of the city to discover its many hidden wonders.
Overnight in Yangon. Day 16 - Depart Yangon (B)
Today is at your leisure until transferring to the airport for your onward flight. If you have time, we suggest joining one of our optional tours.
