The Boat Landing Guest House is situated on the banks of the Nam Tha River 6 kilometers from the center of Luang Nam Tha.  The town's airport is only 1 kilometer away.

When to go?
From November to February the weather in Laos is cool and dry and the best time for outdoor adventures in northern Laos. Not only is the weather good, but Luang Nam Tha's waterfalls and rivers are full of clear waters. March to June can be brutally hot and July to October tend to be very rainy, both of which can affect trekking or cycling itineraries. Pii Mai, Lao New Year, is in April and the celebrations include parades and water fights but accommodation can be difficult to find so plan in advance.

Where is it?
The Boatlanding Guesthouse is located on a quiet section of the Nam Tha River approximately 6 kilometers from the main town of Luang Nam Tha. Additional, the Nam Ha Protected area, is a popular eco-tourism destination, is just a few kilometers away. The town is in the northwest of Laos close to the Chinese border.
