Hotel de la Paix - Luang Prabang - Overview
Hotel de la Paix Luang Prabang flawlessly blends yesterday's colonial charm and romance with today's contemporary style for a sleek and stylish stay in the UNESCO World Heritage City.

Situated on Old Prison Road, the property is set within a protected former mansion, which true to the road's name, was once a detention center but is now an elegant and graceful resort. Blessed with warm Lao hospitality and with beautiful mountains serving as backdrop, Hotel de la Paix Luang Prabang guarantees a private and sheltered stay in one of Southeast Asia's laid-back and picturesque towns.

With only 23 suites available, Hotel de la Paix Luang Prabang promises intimacy and privacy. Traditional Lao designs and accents seamlessly compliment the modern palette with soft-cushioned sofas and lounge chairs rounding out the interior. Suites either open up to a private pool or an outdoor pavilion, with two corner suites having access to towers, providing panoramic views of Luang Prabang. HD television sets, DVD players, IPod and WiFi connectivity provide the in-room entertainment.

Kaipen serves authentic Lao and French influenced cuisine, perfected by the resident chef Sebastian Rubis. Set within an authentic two storey house that overlooks the courtyard, the restaurant brings guests the Lao village ambiance along with a tint of contemporary atmosphere. The ingredients at Kaipen are fresh and picked straight out of the resort's organic garden or the nearby market.

Located in the central courtyard, the 25 meter outdoor swimming pool serves as an inviting sanctuary during Luang Prabang's warm afternoons. Spa Indochines' trained therapists provide unique Asian healing techniques aimed at stimulating, rejuvenating and balancing both body and mind. The secrets of Lao cuisine can be learned at the hands-on cooking course.

For a lavish and opulent take on living in the UNESCO Wolrd Heritage City, Hotel de la Paix Luang Prabang will not disappoint. Everything from the décor, warm hospitality, dining experience and surplus of amenities and in-room entertainment combine to form an unforgettable living experience.
