Ancient Luang Prabang is a stone's throw away from the Hmong textile market, the Royal Palace Museum, Mount Phousi, the evening fruit and food market as well as the craft market.  A 10 minute walk takes guests to Wat Xieng Thong.  The airport is a 15 minute drive away.

 

Who should go?
The hotel's central location makes it ideal for guests wishing to explore Luang Prabang.  The guestroom's unique design of incorporating the shower and bathtub in the room may only be ideal for couples or single travelers

When to go?
From November to February the weather is cool and dry while March to June sees temperatures soaring into above 30 degrees Celsius.  July to October tend to be very rainy, washing out some roads thus making rural areas inaccessible.  Pii Mai, Lao New Year, is in April and the celebrations include parades and water fights.  Local Laos return to their home towns at this time of year meaning that hotels are often full, so be sure to book in advance if traveling in April.
