Rooms are quite small for Western standards, but is cozy, well furnished and makes good use of the limited space. Guests should be prepared to stay at a hotel with almost no facilities to speak of, but for those on a budget, this fact does not matter. The restaurant count is also quite low with one, but Salvatore whips up some nice Italian, tasty pizzas and good Japanese and local fares.
When to go? Tokyo features a four weather seasonal pattern; chilly springs (average 15°C), warm summers (average 28°C), cool autumns (average 17°C) and cold winters (average 6°C). The capital receives much of its rainfall during the late spring, summer and early autumn months, averaging about 160 millimeters of precipitation during that time. Guests should be wary that snowfall, although not common, does occur almost annually during the winter months.
