Day 1 - Solo or Jogjakarta Arrival - Prambanan - JogjakartaArrive in Jogjakarta or Solo, formerly known as Surakarta. Your guide and private car will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Jogjakarta for check-in. Enjoy lunch and some time to relax at your hotel. This afternoon, will be spent exploring the ancient Hindu temples at Prambanan, located 17 kilometers from Jogjakarta. Built in the 9th century, this collection of sharp, jagged temples features three main inner shrines dedicated to the Hindu trinity: Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. UNESCO named Prambanan a Heritage Site in 1991. Your guide will explain the history and symbolism of the temples as you walk around. Day 2 - Jogjakarta – Merapi Golf - Jogjakarta (B,D)This morning, travel to at the Merapi Golf Course. This 18-hole, par 72 course stretches 6370 meters and is one of the most attractive courses in Central Java. Tee off, amid fresh mountain air and spectacular views of Mount Merapi. This afternoon, you will have the chance to learn more about Jogjakarta's historic and cultural traditions when you visit the Sultan's Palace, also known as 'Kraton'. Continue to the adjacent 'Taman Sari', water palace and garden. Enjoy a local cyclo, becak, through the streets to the bird market where you'll see a slice of local Jogja life. Return to Jogjakarta for a chance to relax and freshen-up. This evening, you'll be treated to a performance of traditional Ramayana Dances while dining at a local restaurant. Overnight in Jogjakarta. Day 3 - Jogjakarta - Borobudur Golf - Candi Rejo - Jogjakarta (B)This morning, embrace a new golfing challenge at the Borobudur International Golf and Country Club, situated on the slopes of Mount Tidar. Tee off for 18-holes at The Borobudur Golf course. Lunch is at leisure at the club. Get a taste for local life with a horse cart ride through Candirejo village. Known as a dokar, the local horse cart will take you through this peaceful, charming village. Observe traditional houses and stop to see village activities such as making cassava crackers, playing the gamelan and harvesting and drying of vanilla and chili. Return to Jogjakarta and dinner at leisure. Overnight in Jogjakarta. Day 4 - Jogjakarta – Borobudur – Jogjakara – Denpasar - Ubud (B)Awake early this morning and drive to Borobudur, 42 kilometers west of Jogjakarta, where you will explore this massive Buddhist Temple- the largest in the world- and discover the incredible history behind its construction. Continue with a visit to nearby Mendut temple which is older than Borobudur. Later this morning transfer to Jogjakarta's airport for the flight to Denpasar, Bali. A private transfer will bring you to the town of Ubud. Located in the island's center, Ubud is the island's artistic and cultural capital. Travellers have the option of taking a relaxing Spa. After checking in to your hotel there is time to freshen up and relax. Overnight in Ubud. Day 5 - Ubud – Bedugul Golf – Ulun Danu - Ubud (B,D)Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before departing to the highlands of Bali to recah the Handara Kosaido Country Club, surrounded by mountains, crater lakes and ancient forests.This afternoon, drive to the volcanic Beratan Lake, surrounded by spectacular views. Visit the famous Ulun Danu Temple which sits on a small island on the far shores of the lake. No visit to Bali would be complete without witnessing traditional dance and this evening you will be treated to a performance in a nearby village. Overnight in Ubud Day 6 - Ubud – Choice of excursions - Ubud (B)Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before embarking on a day of leisure where you are free to explore Bali as you please. We have a number of optional activities to inspire guests that include excursions to Mt Batur, Kerta Gosa - Besakih Tem and a guided art tour around Ubud. Overnight in Ubud. Day 7 - Ubud –Golf – Tanah Lot Temple – Jimbaran/Benoa (B,D)Today you will be on the move again when you transfer to Bali's southwest coast. Tee off at the award-winning Nirwana Bali Golf Club, designed by Greg Norman. The 18-hole course is situated near Tanah Lot temple. Three of the holes run alongside the cliffs of the Indian Ocean and dramatic views of the ocean and rice fields can be seen at every turn. Capp off a day of scenic and challenging golf with a visit to Bali's most famous temple, Tanah Lot, situated on a small island about 100 meters off the coast. Overnight in Jimbaran or Benoa. Day 8 - Jimbaran/Benoa – Golf –Uluwatu - Jimbaran/Benoa (B,D)Your final round of golf is at Bali Golf & Country Club. This spectacular course in Nusa Dua is were you'll find a course filled with vistas over the ocean, looming volcanoes in the distance and lush green fairways lined with coconut groves. This afternoon visit Uluwatu. One of Bali's most impressive temples, majestically perched on the edge of a steep cliff that towers above the legendary surf breaks of the south Island. At sunset you'll witness a dramatic kecak performance at the temple. Overnight in Jimbaran or Benoa. Day 9 - Jimbaran /Benoa - Seminyak – Jimbaran /Benoa (B,D)Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel before heading to Seminyak one of the island's most charming- and chic- areas. With your guide and driver at your disposal, you can explore the islands renowned boutique shopping before enjoying the afternoon at your leisure. This evening a farewell dinner will be served at Metis, promising a truly exemplary culinary experience in a sumptuous setting. Day 10 - Jimbaran /Benoa – Denpasar - Departure (B)This morning is free at leisure until transferring to Denpasar International Airport for your departure flight.
