A half day spent at Taman Sari Buwana farm introduces guests to local Balinese life while supporting a community-based tourism project in the village of Tunjunk. Visit an elementary school as you continue on your Indonesian tour, then walk with local farmers to their rice fields and learn how to plant, transplant or harvest rice (depending on the season).  Also observe the collecting of coconuts as locals show how to scale the trees to reach the fruits.

Head to Ubud, the cultural capital of Bali and a place to discover its many inspiring charms. Visit museums, palaces and local markets beginning with a visit to the ARMA Museum to see one of the best collections of Balinese and Indonesian paintings. Pass Ubud's Royal Palace and visit the bustling market before enjoying a delicious meal at Indus Restaurant, one of Ubud's top tables. Drive north to Lake Bratan where you will stop for a visit to the very scenic Ulun Danu Temple. The temple is set in the middle of the lake's calm waters on a small bit of land giving the impression that it is 'floating'.  

There is also the choice to embark on a dolphin cruise in a traditional outrigger or head to Sudaji Waterfall for an exciting trek. You'll pass by plantations growing coffee, cloves, coconuts and tropical fruit and reach the Semkumpul Waterfall which is 50 meters high. On your final day of your Indonesia tour, drive from Candidasa to Tengagan. The village is home to the Bali Aga people, Bali's first inhabitants who where there even before the arrival of the Majapahit dynasty who came from Java. You'll see the village's primitive architecture as well as observe the weaving of rare "double ikat" pattern and basket weaving. 

Visit Tanah Lot Temple, Bali's most iconic temple set on a small island just 100m off the coast. Continue to Umabian, just north of Tambanan and check in to your relaxing traditionally designed hotel.

Start the day with an amazing sustainable tourism excursion at Taman Sari Buwana farm. Walk with farmers to their rice fields and observe the daily activities taking place. In the afternoon transfer to Ubud, stopping en-route at the serene Taman Ayun Temple near Mengwi.

There are 2 options to choose from today. Either head out on a dolphin cruise in a traditional outrigger boat, or make your way to Sudaji Waterfall on a countryside trek.

Visit Besakih, known as the 'Mother Temple' of Bali, located on the western slopes of Mt Agung, Bali's highest volcano. Pedal your way through beautiful landscapes in the afternoon with a 1hour cycling tour around Sidemen.
