Who should go?
Our advice: the Puri Taman Sari hotel is an ideal getaway for those looking to combine an authentic Balinese stay while on holiday in the island.  The resort lacks certain amenities and facilities found in higher end accommodation but more than makes up for it with the resort's attentive detail in incorporating its guests into authentic Balinese village life.

When to go?

Bali is located about 8 degrees south of the equator, so there isn't much variation in temperature averaging about 32 degrees Celsius throughout the year. Bali's dry season is from April to October and is the best time to visit. The wet season is from November to March and coincides with the southern hemisphere's summer, so certain parts of Bali can be a little loud with tourists and parties during this time. December and January are the most humid and rainy months in Bali with about 85% humidity and 290 millimeters of monthly rainfall. April and May are the best months to visit as the weather is the most bearable and coincides with the end of the low season.

Where is it?

Puri Taman Sari is located in Umabian Village in the Marga district of Tabanan Regency in South Central Bali.  Taman Ayun Temple is a 15 minute transfer from the resort while Ngurah Rai International Airport is a 90 minute drive away.

What's not to be missed?
Take part in the resort's many lessons such as cooking, dancing and instrument playing.  Visit Taman Ayun Temple.  Cycle or trek around the nearby rice fields.
