Our advice: removed from the bustling nightlife and buzz of Bali's southern coast, Puri Bagus Lovina Bali is a quiet retreat for a beach getaway. With many of the amenities of a resort minus the pretentiousness of a luxury property, guests looking for an extended seaside stay will enjoy the atmosphere at Puri Bagus Lovina. Although spacious enough for families, the lack of activities and secluded feel of the villas is likely to leave families feeling invasive???

When to go?
Bali experiences a tropical climate with temperatures hovering around a balmy 30°C year round. Sightseeing is generally the most enjoyable during the dry months of April to September, which see sunnier and less humid weather with the occasional shower. The wet season lasts from October to March, during which daily downpours are common but short-lived. Due to Bali's diverse topographies, temperatures vary across the island, so always bring a warm sweater or light jacket when visiting the highlands.

Puri Bagus Lovina is located on Bali's north coast, a five minute drive from Lovina town center. The north coast is more laid back than other areas of the island, despite being one of the first 'resort' towns of Bali, and boasts black sand beaches due to the volcanic surroundings. The island's Denspasar airport is a 2.5 hour drive.

The chefs specialize in Indonesian cuisine and freshly-caught seafood grills, however western favorites also have a prominent place on the menu. The open-air restaurant allows guests to enjoy views of the gardens and sea while dining and an ideal location from which to watch the regularly-scheduled stage performances. For a more private occasion, romantic candlelight tables can be set up by the beach where the chef will serve up a customized dinner selected by the couple.
