Who should go?
Our advice: the peaceful and secluded location of Kamandalu Resort and Spa Ubud  is a great relaxing getaway from the frantic pace of the everyday world. Couples will relish the privacy afforded by the villas. Although large enough for families, the intimate atmosphere and somewhat remote location may be a deterrent for those with kids.

When to go?
Bali is located about 8 degrees south of the equator, so there isn’t much variation in temperature averaging about 32 degrees Celsius throughout the year. Ubud, however, can experience cooler weather during the morning and evenings as it is on higher elevation. Bali’s dry season is from April to October and is the best time to visit. The wet season is from November to March and coincides with the southern hemisphere’s summer, so Bali can be a little loud with tourists and parties during this time. December and January are the most humid and rainy months in Bali with about 85% humidity and 290 millimeters of monthly rainfall. April and May are the best months to visit as the weather is the most bearable and coincides with the end of the low season.

What’s not to be missed?
Cooling off in the outdoor swimming pool. Tantalizing taste buds at Kamandalu’s many restaurants. Indulging at the spa. Walking through the surrounding rice terraces. A white water rafting adventure in the island’s interior.

What’s cooking?
Fine dining is an important aspect of Kamandalu Resort and Spa. The award winning restaurant offers exquisite Asian gastronomy. Asian and Western fusion can also be enjoyed in the blissful Balinese air. Guests can enjoy a nice refreshing drink and appreciate nature at the bar. Privacy is also an important facet of the resort, allowing guests intimate dinners with their loved ones underneath the Bali sky or a barbeque at their villa.
