OVERVIEW

On this Indonesian Kitchen Ubud day trip, take a gastronomic journey to discover the secrets of Indonesian cuisine with this half-day Ubud market tour and cooking class. Inspired by the rich blend of peoples and culture of the archipelago, your chef will introduce you to the flavors of local cuisine through a visit to the local fresh market followed by a hands-on cooking class. At the end of this Bali day trip, sit down to enjoy your delicious creations.  

PROGRAM DETAILS

This morning at 0700, you'll be transferred to Warung Enak Restaurant in central Ubud. Meet your chef and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee while receiving a short briefing on the day's program.

With your chef, you will then visit the traditional food market where you will learn more about the intricacies of Indonesian regional cuisines and observe the daily market trade.

Return to the restaurant around 0800 and begin cooking! You'll learn traditional cooking methods as well as discover local recipes bursting with flavor as you prepare a snack, appetizer and a soup as well as 2 main courses and 2 deserts.

At noon, sit down and enjoy a delicious lunch of your creations. You will also be given a copy of the recipes, a certificate and a small gift.

Then you will be transferred back to your hotel. (L)

• Classes are limited to a minimum of 2 participants and a maximum 8 participants.
• Only available: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday; Other days available upon request
• Each day features a different menu; vegetarian menu can be arranged with advance notice
• Free transportation from/to any hotel in Ubud.
