This morning, depart your hotel in Ubud for an unforgettable cultural immersion in the arts capital of Bali.

Stop on the outskirts of Ubud at Mas to see traditional handicraft factories and wood carving collections. These two villages are some of the few places left on the island preserving these handicraft techniques which are an integral part of the local culture.

Then, proceed to the very close village of Batuan.

Gianyar regency has developed painting tradition with different styles. Today, you will discover the "Batuan style", which generally have darker type of images compared to Ubud paintings. The quality and charm of this Batuan painting style is well recognized. Visit the house of a painter, I Made Budi, and see one letter from Ronald Reagan, former US president

Your next stop is in Singapadu village. This traditional village is home to some of the island's most talented artisans and you'll see craftsmen creating wooden masks and gold-smiths and silver smiths at work using traditional techniques. The village is also known for its spectacular Barong dancers.

Finish the tour with one of the country's most highly developed art forms, the Batik.Tohpati Village is famous as Bali's Batik Wand Weaving Center. Batik is a traditional form of painting fabric. You will see the artisants painstakingly using dots and lines from wax to decorate the cloth.

For art lovers, Ubud and the villages around it is a natural as well as surrealist beauty.

At mid-day, transfer back to your hotel in Ubud.
