Explore ancient ruins and towering temples on this introduction to Siem Reap and the magnificent Temples of Angkor. Visit the ‘must see’ temples as well as some hidden gems as you tour the archeological park with an expert guide. Staying at a centrally located boutique hotel and with free time in this small charming town, our Siem Reap Discovery package is great way to get to know Cambodia.

After arriving in Siem Reap, head to the Angkor Archeological Park for a first glimpse of the temples from a tethered helium balloon. As the sun sets, you will rise above the tree line for sweeping views of the monuments and the surrounding countryside.

The next morning, your tour continues in Angkor Thom City where you will visit monuments such as Bayon, the Terrace of the Elephants and many small temples. Visit Ta Phrom, a temple which as been swallowed by jungle vines. Finally you will reach Angkor Wat. As your guide leads you through the expansive monument, learn about the history and construction of this incredible temple.

We have built in time in the evenings to explore Siem Reap and its many markets, cafes and shops. While in Siem Reap, you will be staying at the Khemara Angkor Hotel, a stylish property located near both the temples and the town. Featuring all of the amenities of a luxury property, yet maintaining a boutique feel the Khemara Angkor is an ideal base for a trip to Cambodia.

Day 1 - Siem Reap - Arrival (D)

Welcome to Siem Reap, the gateway to the Temples of Angkor. After checking in to your hotel, travel to the Angkor Archeological Park for a ride in a tethered helium balloon. Enjoy the views as the sun casts its shadow over the ancient monuments- an incredible way to begin your Siem Reap discovery. Late this afternoon, reach Angkor Wat, the world's largest Hindu temple. Learn about the history and fascinating construction process of the monument as you explore the endless hallways of carvings.

Day 2 - Siem Reap (B)

Begin your temple exploration today at Angkor Thom City. From the enigmatic faces of Bayon temple to the intricate bas reliefs of the Terrace of the Elephants, Angkor Thom is filled with fabulous monuments. Continue to the jungle-covered temple of Ta Phrom and the petite Banteay Kdei. Late this afternoon, reach Angkor Wat, the world's largest Hindu temple. Learn about the history and fascinating construction process of the monument as you explore the endless hallways of carvings.

Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 3 - Siem Reap - Departure (B)

This morning, enjoy some time at leisure to relax at the hotel or to discover Siem Reap town on your own until transferring to the airport for your onward flight.
