The perfect city escape, you will depart from Phnom Penh and arrive early afternoon in time for a delicious lunch and some time to relax at your leisure either in the comfort of your comfortable tent or exploring the pristine environment that surrounds. A definite highlight of this adventure is enjoying the sunset from your private veranda over a chilled drink.

Rise early, take a morning stroll and soak up the serenity of Koh Sampouch a true tropical island paradise that remains untouched by the tourist trail. Today you are free to indulge yourself in whatever way the heart desires. Take to the warm waters of the ocean, explore the unspoiled forested terrain of Ream National Park and keep your eyes open for the rare wildlife that resides within the area.

On the final full-day of this Ream National Park tour you have the option to spend another day blissing out on the beach or to participate in some prearranged activities. Choose from a jungle trek, mangrove forest and a 8km beach walk. This is an ideal retreat from the hustle and bustle of Phnom Penh that will provide travelers with the revitalization needed to continue a tour of Southeast Asia.

This morning, depart from Phnom Penh with your guide for to Ream National Park roughly around 3 ½ hours drive. You will be transferred to one of Ream's most scenic isolated beaches, called Koh Sampouch. 

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed to your exclusive tent right on the beach where amenities are plentiful, offering a home away from home experience. Enjoy a delicious lunch, prepared in the local restaurant next to the camp before you can enjoy the remainder of the day free at your leisure for swimming and relaxing. End your day with enjoy a beautiful sunset from your private veranda.

Wake up to the sound of the waves... Koh Sampouch is particularly quiet and beautiful early in the morning, and just perfect for a walk along the beach to see. Breakfast will be served in the camp. Enjoy the entire day free at leisure to relax by the quiet beach.Lunch and dinner in the camp.

There are some optional activities that we can arrange for you:

- Beach walk - discover Koh Sampouch Beach in full on an 8km walk to the other end and come back by boat. Easy walk that involves some light climbing over trees and rocks. 

- Visit the mangrove forests on a boat trip along Prek Toeuk Sap River. There is a chance that you will see spot-billed pelicans or the rare freshwater dolphins (December-February). 

- Jungle treks of all levels ranging from a short trek through the jungle to the nearby fishing village Thmor Thom to hard treks for experienced trekkers. The treks are led by local rangers. 

- Fishing with a local fisherman. Overnight in a tented camp on Koh Sampouch Beach.

Breakfast in the camp. Enjoy the morning time at leisure. After lunch, transfer back to Phnom Penh.
