OVERVIEW: Enjoy a leisurely bike ride through the countryside on this Phnom Penh day tour, discovering the diversity of the rural landscapes, passing small villages, schools and silk weaving houses. Travel by boat and ferry to river islands and pedal on small roads with no traffic stopping to meet friendly locals and taste local delicacies. This is a low environmental-impact day tour that will bring you closer to the real Cambodia!
PROGRAM DETAILS: Tour starts at the Vicious Cycle Café. Take a boat across Tonle Sap River and cycle north along the far bank of the river, an area mainly populated by Cham communities. Pass coriander gardens and small wooden houses before crossing the peninsula. While waiting for the ferry, visit a Chinese style pagoda. Take a ferry to Koh Otnyahdei, where a gentle ride will take you around this small Island with its fertile farmland and small villages.
