Day 1 - Arrival in Yangon
On arrival you will be welcomed by your tour guide and taken to your comfortable Rangoon accommodation at the Park Royal Resort Yangon. Begin your Myanmar travels by experiencing the allure of Yangon as you visit colonial buildings, Buddhist pagodas, and the stately National Museum.

Today we continue your Burma Tour with a flight to Mandalay, the spiritual heart of Myanmar. Visit Mahamuni Pagoda, then tour local workshops to observe craftwork such as woodcarving and tapestry making. After an afternoon spent among the Kuthodaw Pagoda and the Shwenandaw Monastery, you will end the day at Mandalay Hill, the ideal spot to watch the sun set over the town and the surrounding plains.

Day 3 - Mandalay-Amarapura-Ava-Sagaing-Mandalay (B)
Departing from Mandalay, you will you will discover the charms of old Burma as you take a journey through three of Myanmar's ancient capitals. You will you attend the monks' daily meal at a monastery in Amnapura, amble through Ava by horse carriage, and visit historic ruins in Sagaing, before ending the day with a twilight stroll across a 200 year-old teak bridge.

After breakfast, board the public ferry for your voyage to Bagan, a town of a thousand stupas and temples. Catch a glimpse of rural village life as you make your way south on this fascinating trip down the Irrawaddy. Arrive in Bagan in the late afternoon.

Day 5 - Bagan (B)
Spend the morning discovering the beauty of Bagan as you visit the Nyaung Oo Market, the Shwezigon Pagoda, and the cave temple of Wetkyi-In Gubyaukgyi. After visiting Ananda, Bagan's holiest temple, you will pass among brickwork temples and quiet country towns on a horse carriage ride through the plains.

In the morning, take a walk to Myinkaba village, where you have the chance to observe the production of lacquer ware, one of Myanmar's most distinctive traditional crafts. In the afternoon, travel out through the countryside to Minnanthu, where you'll see some of Bagan's most intriguing and least visited temples. Enjoy the sunset from the top of Tayoke Pyay Temple.

Today you fly to Heho, the gateway for your excursion to the idyllic Inle Lake. After a scenic drive and a stopover at the wooden Shwe Yan Pyay Monastery, you will arrive at the dock to find a private motorboat waiting for you. After an exciting trip past floating gardens and stilt-house villages, you will visit the Nga Hpe Chaung Monastery, the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, and a cheroot factory where the local Burmese cigars are made by hand.

Day 8 - Indein- Inle Lake- Heho- Yangon (B)
Start your day among locals as you explore the morning market on Inle Lake. Travelling from the lake by canal, you will be taken to In Dein, a Paoh village where you will tour a local school and view evocatively overgrown stupas. Return to the lake in the afternoon to catch your flight back to Yangon, where you will be transferred to your hotel.

Enjoy your final morning in Yangon by soaking up its faded colonial atmosphere and modern pace. In the afternoon, you will have free time to visit the Bogyoke Market before you are transferred to Mingaladon Airport, where your fascinating Myamar travels will come to an end.
