I always think of “coconut island” where I grew up. It’s a lush, green in the middle of the Mekong Delta called Ben Tre! After a hard working week in Ho Chi Minh City, Ben Tre is my weekend escape. For me, Ben Tre is a heavenly green island where the pure ecological environment is created by the green of coconut trees. When I return home I can smell the fresh air and feel very relaxed without the noise of a big city.
In the evening my family and I go out to a local BBQ and hotpot restaurant and being my hometown speciality, it’s my favourite dinner. Sometimes we take a sampan to the further islands to visit our relatives. I enjoy rowing a sampan in small river bands surrounding by green water coconuts. It recalls all my childhood memories when I was young. I also like swimming in my home river which is brown with rich nutrients that nourish the fertile land, or walking in big gardens and climbing some fruit trees with my childhood friends.
Ben Tre will always be my favourite place in Vietnam as it’s so dear to my heart!

I just returned back home last 19th November after my long trip in Southeast Asia - Myanmar, Thailand, Southern Laos, Vietnam.
As promised I would like to send you this feedback regarding the trip in Myanmar. It was marvelous and my dream is now a reality. We had a real good time preparing the trip, changes, choosing the best itinerary and I honestly think we did it well, and thanks to your efficient and good work, everything ran very smooth, perfect and without problems.
I would say the trekking from Kalaw to Inle Lakewas one of the most beautiful experiences in our lives. It's not so hard, and the landscapes are so beautiful ! The porters helped us a lot, and the cooking was excellent. The meals were perfect. Overnight in the monastery was also an experience.
Highly recommended this trekking like we did it. For those clients who like to walk, and accept the accommodation like it is, I would say it's a different way to know the country, to breathe the clean air, to be in the nature.
Myanmar is a beautiful country and we try to convince our friends and relatives they should come and visit it. Exotissimo is a good reference for those who like to travel around Southeast Asia, as I could see either in Laos or Vietnam.

Hi Piseth,
My friend and I just returned from our trip to Siem Reap. I have to write to
you to let you know how SATISFIED we were about this trip!!! The little
survey would not do any justice! The trip much exceeded our expectations!!!
I have to compliment Poan as our tour guide. He made the trip excellent by
providing great stories! He was kind and very patient with us. He took care
of everything. We just had to relax and enjoy the tour. We missed the
balloon ride the first two days due to windy and thunderstorm like
conditions. He made sure we got on the last day and perhaps we were lucky,
we were the only ones on the balloon! That was very special! We also had a
"fun" time going to the floating village. The boat driver was not so good
and caused an incident... but Poan did the best he could in that situation.
He is the best tour guide I ever had in my life, even better than the ones I
had in Europe, Thailand, Beijing and Japan. He was flexible and we could
feel that he treated us like friends, even enjoying a couple of laughs
himself! If I go back to Cambodia with Exotissimo, I must have Poan as my
guide again!
Victoria Angkor was also an excellent hotel. Everyone there treated us with
kindness and the food was amazing! The room was clean and we got an
excellent view of the beautiful pool. Of course, I realize that could be
because it was during the low season! The buffet breakfast was comparable to
some of the best I had in Las Vegas! I hope we will also get a deal again
next time should we visit Siem Reap again! It was a bargain!
Last but not least, thank you Piseth for arranging this tour for us. We will
definitely recommend Exotissimo and Poan to our family, friends and
colleagues should they have interest to visit your country.
