La Résidence opens in Hue

This July, Hue will see the opening of La Résidence Hotel and Spa, a hotel situated at 5 Le Loi Street on a two hectare estate along the quiet banks of the Perfume River. The hotel has been constructed around a renovated 1910 Art Deco building which was the official residence of French governors in central Vietnam until 1954. All the restored rooms have a different setup and decoration which reflects the French architects working there between 1910 and 1954, creating a unique hotel complex that combines Vietnam’s past, present and future.

La Résidence is an architectural mix of the old and the new, housing 122 superior and deluxe rooms and suites with private balconies, air conditioning, electronic safes and a full range of amenities, as well as a business centre, an art gallery, an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre, a tennis court and state-of-the-art conference facilities. La Flamboyant Spa offers a complete range of international and Vietnamese health treatments from professionally trained local masseuses. The complex also features Vietnamese, Asian and international cuisine at the riverside Restaurant Le Parfum and refreshing cocktails at the pool bar or lobby bar, Le Gouveneur.
