Hotel updates

Bagan Hotel

The Bagan Hotel is currently undergoing construction; it is adding eight more junior suites with private terraces and river or sunset views overlooking the garden or ancient pagodas and renovating the hotel’s existing superior and deluxe rooms. The hotel has also enrolled its staff in an intensive two-month course to learn English and German. It is useful to note that free snack lunches are offered for all junior suites and above bookings, payment by guests can be made in euros, Singapore dollars, Thai baht, American dollars or with credit cards, and the breakfast buffet has been expanded to offer more dishes.

Lake View Resort

In October, the Lake View Resort at Inle Lake will begin offering open-spa treatments in a flower garden. Services include aromatic and relaxing body, face and head massages, foot reflexology, and more. In the garden, guests will enjoy fresh fruit or vegetable juices or an item from the real dietetic steamed menu. The hotel has also added one more Thai menu, which brings the total number to six different set menus.

The Pansea Hotel in Yangon has changed its name to the Governor’s Residence to reflect its new management.

After three months of renovations, the Inle Princess Resort re-opened its doors in mid-July with new chalet rooms. 42 rooms are available now, with four more available in October.
