IN BRIEF

New air routes linking cultural centres of Indochina

A fact-finding trip last month examined the possibility of linking three of Indochina’s most famous world heritage sites, Hue (Vietnam), Angkor Wat (Cambodia) and Luang Prabang (Laos) by air. The idea for the routing came out of a conference organized by the Sub-Mekong Region Committee between these cities and the national carriers to boost cultural tourism in the region. At present no schedule has been decided upon but it could start soon according to officials. Exotissimo will keep partners informed of further developments.
