EXOTISSIMO TRAVEL PROFESSIONAL'S GUIDE 2002

London’s World Travel Market will once again be the venue for the launching of the new Exotissimo Travel Professional’s Guide to Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar. The brand new 2002 Exotissimo Travel Professional’s Guide is being produced in two separate parts. The first part is an attractive full colour introductory brochure to Exotissimo’s destinations, including some wonderful photography, highlights summary and an extensive preferred hotel section. The second part will take the form of a comprehensive wholesale tariff packed with sample itineraries, useful information for each destination and net wholesale rates. With the recent opening of Exotissimo Laos, this emerging regional destination will be more prominently featured than in the past along with some highly original new sample itineraries. The Exotissimo Travel Professional’s Guide to Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos & Myanmar 2002 is due for to be be mailed in October 2001 and you should receive your copies shortly after. New international air routes from Danang


Vietnam Airlines plans to set up new international flights from the central coastal city of Danang to Singapore, Taipei and Siem Reap. There are currently direct flights from Danang to Hong Kong and Bangkok. Flights to Japan and Korea are also planned for the future.

Dalat prepares to open more air links


Flight schedules and other preparations are being finalized by Vietnam Airlines for the scheduled introduction of direct Dalat-Singapore and Dalat-Hanoi flights early next year.

Equatorial Yagon to become a Sofitel


The new owners of the Hotel Equatorial Yangon have decided to turn the management of the hotel over to the Accor group. The hotel will be rebranded as a Sofitel. General manager Duncan Maclean has announced that he will not stay on as general mamager of the new rebranded hotel.
