Day 1 - Arrival Chiang Rai – Chiang Saen (D)
You will arrive at the Four Season’s camp pier and continue on a traditional long tail boat to your Luxury Camp.
After a cozy afternoon tea, you will head out to explore the camp or watch the northern Thai wildlife with a tented camp naturalist.
In the evening you can enjoy ‘Sundowners’, which is when - in true camp tradition - all activities recess to savor the magnificent sunset of another day in the Golden Triangle. Wherever the adventure – elephant trekking, river excursion or at the Camp – the next 30 minutes are spent with a casual drink and relaxation while watching the sky turn golden. Beverages of your choice are served, accompanied by local and western snack items.
Dinner will be served at Nong Yao Restaurant, an open-air thatched-roof pavilion by the riverbank, with rustic hardwood floors. Nong Yao Restaurant offers Thai, Laotian, Burmese and western cuisine. In keeping with the Camp's atmosphere, guests have the option to dine together at a long family-style table, seated in suede chairs, or privately, at separate tables. A bar area, complete with a double-sided fireplace in the middle, is perfect for pre-dinner drinks.
Your overnight stay will be at the Four Season’s Elephant Camp.
Day 2 - Four Seasons Tented Camp (B, L, D)Elephants at Four Seasons Tented Camp
You will receive a wake-up call and morning beverage. In the morning, you will meet with the professional mahouts who will provide training in how to care for and ride an elephant. Breakfast. The late morning will be at leisure followed by lunch at the Burma bar. Suggested activities for your leisure time: lounge around the pool or go fishing with a local guide.
In the afternoon you will go elephant trekking and perform some elephant care, practicing the skills you learned in the morning.
Following, you will relax with a hot tea followed by sundowners in the jungle or at the Burma Bar.
Dinner will be by the campfire at the Elephant camp, with torches for lighting and glimpses of elephant silhouettes nearby, guests are served a five-course formal dinner. In true safari style, tables are arranged in a semi-circle around the campfire. After dinner relax at the campfire with drinks and stargazing follow.
Your overnight stay will be at the Four Season’s Elephant Camp.
Day 3 - Four Seasons Tented Camp (B, L, D)
You will receive a wake-up call followed by breakfast at Nong Yao Restaurant. After breakfast, you will cruise on the Mekong River and stop at villages and temples along the way to experience the daily life of the locals. You can enjoy a picnic lunch on the riverboat while cruising gently downstream.
In the afternoon can take some leisure time with the suggested activities of photo trekking or taking a crafting-class.
Massage at Four Seasons Tented CampAfter the afternoon tea, enjoy a relaxing massage at the Spa. At the spa at Four Seasons Tented Camp, wonder-working treatments rejuvenate your body and bathe your spirit in perfect serenity. Amidst the bamboo forests of the Golden Triangle are two open-air salas featuring double treatment rooms, spa beds and a bathtub/shower area. With their rustic design and use of natural materials, the salas blend in with the environment.
In this environment of simple luxury, traditional Thai massages and innovative rituals assisted by the healing power of mountain botanicals and warming spices guide you on a restorative journey.
Followed by Sundowners, and a barbecue dinner at The Burma bar, an open-air thatched-roof lounge within sight of Elephant Camp and overlooking the Ruak River and Burma, Burma Bar enjoys perfect views of the sunset. The Bar is decorated with trekking and navigation equipment – maps, books, tribal antiques and tripod-mounted binoculars, where guests can read a book while curled up in one of the overstuffed leather couches. Its home-like, informal atmosphere makes it the spot for a quiet, contemplative moment in which to enjoy the tranquility of the environment.

Day 4 - Four Seasons Tented Camp – Depart Chiang Rai (B)
You will receive a wake-up call followed by breakfast at Nong Yao Restaurant. After saying farewell to the camp, you will transfer to Chiang Rai Airport for your flight to Bangkok.
