Season/When to go? 

Due to its high elevation, Dalat has some of Vietnam's most pleasant weather. All year the temperature hovers around 20 degrees Celsius (around 68 F), a pleasant change from the heat of the lower elevations. The rainy season is from April to November, although the rains are not as strong as those in the rest of the country and the sun is often shining. 

The Chinese new year of Tet is celebrated throughout Vietnam in late January or early February.  During this time, transport options fill up quickly and lots of restaurants and tourist sites are closed so it is not recommended to travel to Vietnam then.
