When to go?
Like the rest of Thailand, Koh Samet is subject to annual monsoon rains. The dry season extends from November to February. The temperature remains fairly steady year-round, ranging from 21°C to 35°C (70°F to 90°F).

The island of Koh Samet is a short 2.5 hour drive from Bangkok, where upon guests of the Paradee are transferred to the resort by a ten-minute private boat transfer. The Paradee is located on the remote southern tip of the island on Ao Kiew beach.

The Paradee also offers one of the finest sunset venues on the island at its Sunset Bar. Overlooking the west beach, the Sunset Bar serves a variety of cocktails and beers to sip as the sun dips in to the horizon.
