Manohra Luxury Cruise - Bangkok - Overview
The Manohra luxury cruise boats are presenting the ultimate travel experiences, exploring the various mystical wonders along the Thailand’s legendary river, Chaophraya.

Built upon the original 100-year-old teak hulls, the Manohra rice barges have been meticulously restored and converted into luxurious river vessels. Handcrafted teakwood has been carved into elaborate designs evoking the reign of King Rama V.  Subtle, muted fabrics are draped against the hardwood furniture to create a rich ambience from which to enjoy Bangkok's river life. The barges cruise by Wat Arun, the Royal Grand Palace, the Boathouse of the Royal Barges and the city's floating markets, temples and river front homes.

For an unforgettable experience, overnight cruises, up to areas such as Ayuthaya, are available. The boats feature air-conditioned state rooms with ensuite bathrooms. With an attentive staff catering to every need as well as onboard chefs, the overnight river journey is an unparalled experience.

The Manohra boats are docked at Manohra Cruise pier of Bangkok Marriott Resort and Spa, which is located along the Chao Phraya River and 15 minutes away from the nearest skytrain station by the resort's shuttle ferry service.

Who should go?
A cruise along the Chao Phraya - also dubbed the 'River of Kings' - is a memorable and spectacular experience that immerses passengers in the bygone times of Old Siam. Sailing in lavish comfort and grandeur past iconic temples and riverside life, these beautifully restored rice barges are a delightful way to be introduced into Bangkok and the ancient capital of Ayutthaya. Manohra Song is available for both private charters and custom cruises while Manohra Dream offers private charters only. 

When to go?
Bangkok has three main seasons. From December to February the weather is cool and dry, making it a very pleasant time to explore the city on foot. Temperatures begin to rise in March and the hot weather lasts until May, with temperatures often soaring to 40ºC.  Bangkok experiences its rainy season from May to November which is characterized by frequent downpours. The city roads and rivers flood frequently during this time of year. 

Where is it?
The Manohra boats are docked at Manohra Cruise pier of Bangkok Marriott Resort and Spa, which is located along the Chao Phraya River. From the nearest Saphan Taksin Skytrain Station, it is a 15-minute ride to the Bangkok Marriott by the resort's shuttle ferry service. Both vessels depart from Manohra Cruise pier.
