After a short flight to Bagan, spend today exploring the ancient temples with your private guide. Learn more about the Burmese culture as you spend the day exploring Nyaung U and the neighboring villages. Interact with the local villagers and visit craftsman villages where you will see items such as plum jam, lacquer ware, and bullock carts being produced. Take a relaxing boat cruise up the Irrawaddy River to the lesser-known temple of Kyauk Gu U Min and observe fabulous scenes of life on the water. En-route, stop at Sae Lan village and go ashore for a short walk amongst the calm scenery. After exploring Kyauk Gu U Min, return to the boat for the relaxing cruise back to Bagan.

This morning fly from the plains of Bagan to Heho, a one hour drive to the tranquil waters of Inle Lake.  Surrounded by the Shan Hills, embark on a boat trip through stilted villages, past leg-rowing fishermen, and unique pagodas, including one famous for its jumping cats.  Explore the weaving village of Inpawkhone, a cheroot factory where typical Burmese cigars are made by hand. Enjoy a scenic lakeside dinner at your hotel.

Overnight at Inle Princess Resort, Inle Lake. 

Today continue exploring Inle Lake and its surroundings. Travel by boat to the Pa-Oh village of Indein and take an easy 1-hour trek to Kyar Ton village where a gourmet picnic lunch will be served.  This afternoon relax with a canoe ride to Tharlay village past the stilted houses and floating gardens of the Intha people. Then, transfer back to your hotel on a private motorboat. Relax at the hotel or opt for a spa or indulge in wine tasting.

Overnight at Inle Princess Resort, Inle Lake.
