Start the course with a guided trip to the market where you will learn about Cambodian vegetables, herbs, spices and other ingredients. Return to the cooking school where you will be shown how to prepare these delicious dishes. This afternoon, visit the a silk farm 15 km west of Siem Reap, to witness the entire process of silk creation. Overnight at Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort, Siem Reap. Day 6 - Siem Reap (B,L,D)Early today, travel to the countryside to see the "gem" of the Angkor area and one of the best preserved temples of the, the pretty temple of Banteay Srey. En-route stops at local communities and observe the making of rice paper Palm Wine and Palm Sugar. Continue to quiet Beng Mealea, a completely overgrown temple. Undiscovered for centuries you will enjoy a delicious picnic lunch at the temple site away from the crowds of Angkor.On the way back to Siem Reap, stop at the Landmine Museum which promotes mine awareness.
