Tet 2009 is coming
Tet, or the Vietnamese New Year, is the most important national holiday in Vietnam. Traditionally a time for family reunions, many Vietnamese will take the opportunity to return to their hometowns to celebrate the occasion with their relatives. Usually lasting for three days, most shops and businesses (including restaurants) close, transportation and guides services are also harder to secure and a premium may apply. Due to the aforementioned reasons, we would like to remind all agents to confirm bookings for this period as soon as possible. In the months following Tet, many local festivals are celebrated in Northern Vietnam so it will be interesting to visit the country during this period.
