Discover Chiang Rai with New Day Trips

Our latest day trips in Chiang Rai are specially designed to explore northern Thailand with a touch of adventure.
Our Tom Yum Goong day trip combines the undiscovered sites of Chiang Rai with a delicious lunch that showcase the Kingdom’s best-loved dish. Head to Phu Chi Fa for sunrise viewing over the Thai-Lao borders, tuck into a Tom Yum Goong lunch at a freshwater shrimp farm and visit a royal-initiated agricultural project and a warm waterfall to learn about the region’s unique landscapes and culture. In 4WD Adventure Trace of the Opium Trail, explore picturesque sites off the beaten tracks in Chiang Rai on a 4WD vehicle. At Doi Mae Salong Mountain, learn about the late drugs kingpin Khun Sa and the opium trade in an area which used to be part of the infamous Golden Triangle. The trip also includes a visit to a hill tribe village inhabited by different tribal groups and to Doi Hua Mae Kham which offers spectacular vistas of yellow wild sunflowers in full bloom in November.
