The Sands of Samed

Koh Samed has it all, beautiful sand, gorgeous weather year-round and a short distance away from Bangkok. Travelers come time and time again to Samed for the sparkling white sand dunes stretching along the blue ocean waters. The beach has managed to balance development while preserving itself as a traveler’s paradise of sun, sand and seafood.

The drive to Rayong is quick from Bangkok, however in the past, travel to the island has been hampered by capacity issues a lack of good transportation across the bay from Rayong. We are now able to offer you speedboat transfers twice daily from Rayong. Additionally, Exotissimo Travel has access to a large allotment of rooms with Samed’s most popular hotels, making a beach break here not only easy, but essential.

Danang – Golfing, Diving and the Furama

The Furama Resort in Danang has recently finished a series of improvements and renovations, including its new series of rooms – Ocean View. The new Ocean Studio, Deluxe and Suite rooms are very similar to the Lagoon and Garden Rooms, except with a view of the beach and the ocean beyond.

The Furama has also opened an on-site Dive Centre, offering courses for beginner and advanced divers including PADI and Open Water certification courses. This is the first diving centre to open in the area, and is a welcome step in developing Danang into a full-featured beach destination. Diving tours start at 8am each day, and will explore the waters of nearby Monkey Mountain Peninsula.

To cap it all off, the Montgomerie Links Vietnam golf course is under construction, and golfers will be able to tee off in June 2008. The new golf course is just 10 minutes from the Furama and within striking distance from Hoi An. Golfers will get to familiarize themselves with the course’s front nine in June, with the back nine becoming available sometime later in the year.
