Adventure Cambodia; the responsible approach

the_hardest_road_in_cambodia-right.jpgCambodia’s empty roads, shady dirt paths and trails and welcoming communities are a real treat for cyclists and trekkers alike. The relatively flat routes and natural scenery have contributed to a rising demand of cycling and trekking holidays to Cambodia. Adventure Cambodia has adjusted its routes to make sure that you are able to visit the best of what the beautiful countryside have to offer. Lunching with local families, enjoying visits to countryside farms and non-profit organizations and sleeping in pagodas are all unique features that will create your perfect, memorable holiday.

Adventure Cambodia understands the value of community-based tourism and supports the communities we meet on the way. Responsible travel has become an increasingly important feature for us and especially our adventure tours. We are continuing to add new elements to our tours to make sure we can accommodate this rising demand. Join Exotissimo on its cycling or trekking tours and get in touch with the real Cambodia while improving local people’s livelihoods.

A Night’s Rest Near Suvarnnabhumi – The Miracle Hometel

miracle_hometel_suvannabhumi-left.jpgFor groups needing a hotel for the night just before their departure from Bangkok, there is always the Novotel Suvarnnabhumi. Of course, some find the Novotel a little “too nice” for an evening’s rest before an early morning flight home, and for that, we would like to introduce the Miracle Hometel. Just open, the hotel is just a 10 minute drive from the airport and offers the full-range of facilities, like swimming pool, fitness, etc. as well as shuttle bus transfers between the hotel and the airport so you will not need to book a separate car and guide for your clients. But above all, they offer a quiet place to rest in comfort before your clients board their flights onward.

Discover Lao Culture through the Phuang Champa

phuang_champa_cultural_house_luangprabang-right.jpgPuang Champa Cultural House is a small local organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of traditional Lao culture. The artists here work together to cultivate and develop traditional Lao dance, music, singing, lacquerware, textile working and other handcrafts.

If you are organizing a very VIP tour or an exclusive, there is no better showcase of Lao arts than the Puang Champa. Their dedication to their art goes beyond simple performances, and this dedication creates a uniquely authentic evening of Lao art and culture. We at Exotissimo Laos are working with them to offer a nuanced event to expose our clients to authentic Lao art.

Kanchanaburi’s Kao Nam Na Resort

river_kwai_bridge_kanchanaburi-right.jpgThe Kao Nam Na Resort is a wonderful new resort in Kanchanburi. Its small 16 rooms are perfect for those looking for comfort and in a charming little boutique. Kanchanaburi itself is known for its myriad soft adventure activities, and the Kao Nam Resort serves as a good contrast to those adventures. Think of the Kao Nam Na as a quiet oasis of style from nature’s frontier. A massage after a day of hiking is always a good idea.

Northeast Cambodia; the Next Big Thing!

cambodia-countryside-left.jpgA lot of people sat up and took note of northeast Cambodia when we began our Pakse to Siem Reap bicycle ride. It is a great way to journey across the region. We have spent more than two months in the region, and believe that there is more to the region than cycling alone.

With excellent new infrastructure and accommodation options opening in April, Stung Treng and Kratie are great places to visit from Phnom Penh. Alongside the Mekong and with local communities providing new eco-tourism services, the new route gives more reasons for adventure travelers to rejoice. Scenic boat rides from the border to Stung Treng, birdwatching, dolphin watching and short island exploration make for a great experience in northeast Cambodia. If you have ever wondered what life was like along the tenth largest river in the world, this is your chance to find out!

To complete a great trip, we can arrange a temple stay at one of Cambodia’s most famous pagoda’s – the One Hundred Pillar Pagoda. The route is appropriate for most travelers but does require some physical activity from time to time. Be an explorer, break ground and have an adventure with Exotissimo in northeast Cambodia!

Hardcore Adventures in Dalat

rock-climbing-right.jpgThe romantic heart of Vietnam has long had a second side to it, an adventurous side. Exotissimo Travel has been hard at work identifying new soft adventure activities to take advantage of Dalat’s cool climate, gorgeous waterfalls and rolling hills.

Our 2D/1N Jungle Fever will take you through the local forests and jungles (and maybe spotting a wild elephant or two) while visiting minority villages along the way. For those adverse to camping, the Langbian Scramble will lead participants to gorgeous views from the three mountain peaks of Langbian (of course). We offer mountain biking programs for all levels.

New kayaking programs can take participants out to Tuyen Lam Lake. Rock Climbing fans have reason to rejoice, as we can now offer excellent rock climbing programs (to complement to X Rock Climbing Wall in Saigon).

No matter what the level of skill, we can offer interesting and exciting adventure programs for everyone in Dalat. Please contact Exotissimo Vietnam for more information.
