Furama Resort – A True Oasis of Heaven in Danang, Vietnam

Furama Resort – The Haven of Tranquility.  Once you step into their property, it’s easy to agree to the resort’s slogan.  The resort boasts just about everything; a wonderful beachside location, spacious rooms that blend modern designs with some hints of traditional Vietnamese styling, private terraces that overlook the serene environment and a long list of restaurants, bars and facilities.  If you are in Danang and are interested in spending some time in this city, you must stay at the Furama Resort.

Let’s start things off with your room.  There are 198 guestrooms and suites available at Furama Resort, all with private balconies overlooking the beach, swimming pool or garden.  Each are appointed with a perfect combination of modern and charming Vietnamese styles, resulting in a true ‘homely’ feel.  Polished timber floors, smooth wood binds and soft linen all combine to please the eye.

If UNESCO sites are the name of the game, then Furama Resort is your ideal headquarters.  The former Imperial City of Hue (two hours), the port city of Hoi An (3o minutes) and the Champa ruins at My Son (90 minutes) are all nearby.  But if you just want to hang around the hotel, there’s no shame in that as well.

If you do decide to stick around in the resort, why not head to the beach?  But, this is not just any beach.  This is one of Vietnam’s finest, Bac My An.  A walk along its smooth sands, a swim in its warm waters or a relaxing time sunbathing are certainly inviting activities.  But, if you are the active type, then so sweat!  The hotel can easily arrange and provide equipment for water and beach sports.  If you are a diving enthusiast, then this hotel can satisfy that tingling diving desire in you as well.

The almost endless facilities at Furama make it seem more like a country club than a resort.  A fitness center that would make many sports clubs jealous, French colonial-inspired restaurant that can please the most discriminating tastes, a picturesque beachside restaurant, scenic indoor, garden side and bars that will liven up your refreshing drink, a fully complimented spa and a free flowing swimming pool that overlooks the ocean are all here and ready for your indulgence!  A movie theater and game room as well as a children’s activities center adds to the already impressive list.  Need we say more?

If you are looking for outright luxury in Danang, then look no further!  From your polished guestroom to the endless list of facilities, restaurants and bars, Furama Resort Danang will forever be etched inside your memory bank long after you leave.
