Talking about what I love about Thailand?? Mainly it is the ‘sanuk' way of living (the relaxed lifestyle). Of course Bangkok as a capital city is busy and booming so it’s great to leave the city every now and then for a few days to “reload” and enjoy great food, take your time to visit some places and have time to catch up with friends.
One of my favourite places is definitely Ko Samed – a real tropical island paradise feeling comes over me when I catch the boat on the mainland for the short trip to the National park. Not too far from Bangkok (about 2.5 hrs drive) yet a totally different world. Many Thai people visit this island so there is a genuine holiday atmosphere without it being a tourist trap with only foreign tourists.
Sitting on the beach in the evening (on cushions), sipping beers and eating good Thai food with a couple of friends gives me the real Thai holiday feeling.

I just returned back home last 19th November after my long trip in Southeast Asia - Myanmar, Thailand, Southern Laos, Vietnam.
As promised I would like to send you this feedback regarding the trip in Myanmar. It was marvelous and my dream is now a reality. We had a real good time preparing the trip, changes, choosing the best itinerary and I honestly think we did it well, and thanks to your efficient and good work, everything ran very smooth, perfect and without problems.
I would say the trekking from Kalaw to Inle Lakewas one of the most beautiful experiences in our lives. It's not so hard, and the landscapes are so beautiful ! The porters helped us a lot, and the cooking was excellent. The meals were perfect. Overnight in the monastery was also an experience.
Highly recommended this trekking like we did it. For those clients who like to walk, and accept the accommodation like it is, I would say it's a different way to know the country, to breathe the clean air, to be in the nature.
Myanmar is a beautiful country and we try to convince our friends and relatives they should come and visit it. Exotissimo is a good reference for those who like to travel around Southeast Asia, as I could see either in Laos or Vietnam.
Warmest regards,

One of the great aspects about my job is that each summer I have the opportunity of going on research trips to discover and learn about new travel destinations. I really love to travel around Vietnam and am always amazed by the fascinating culture my beautiful country has to offer.
My last trip took me to the Mekong Delta where I witnessed a local lady rowing a small sampan boat while wearing a traditional "Ao ba ba" outfit. I was so impressed by the image of her graceful beauty, and the local Mekong Delta shirt she was wearing as it was the most charming costume I had ever seen in the region. In fact, I liked it so much that when I returned to Ho Chi Minh City, I decided to have one tailor-made for myself and now I really love wearing it with a pair of jeans when I go out with my friends!
So naturally, I am now really looking forward to my next Mekong trip so that I can enjoy more of it's inspiring cultural beauty... and maybe make some more fashionable local-style clothing!
