On this Cambodia tour you will trek through Ream National Park, enjoy a picnic and cruise the waters of the Prek Toeuk Sap River when you board a traditional Sampan. Take to the warm waters of the ocean, explore the unspoiled forested terrain of Ream National Park and keep your eyes open for the rare wildlife that resides within the area.

On the final full-day of this Ream National Park tour you have the option to spend another day blissing out on the beach or to participate in some prearranged activities. Choose from a jungle trek, mangrove forest and an 8km beach walk. This is an ideal retreat from the hustle and bustle of Phnom Penh that will provide travelers with the revitalization needed to continue a tour of Southeast Asia. 

This morning, depart from Phnom Penh with your local English speaking guide for a short drive to Ream National Park (3 ½ hours), a true nature lovers paradise. You will be transferred to one of Ream's most scenic beaches. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed to your comfortable and well-equipped tent right on the beach. But first of all, a delicious lunch will be prepared in the local restaurant next to the camp. After lunch, go on a short trek around the base of the mountain through the jungle to a nearby fishing village. Your guide keeps a watchful eye out for notable reptiles, birds and wildlife. Trek back to the campsite. End your day with enjoy a beautiful sunset from your private tent veranda.

Awake to a fresh sea breeze and sounds of nature nicely paired with a fresh breakfast. Transfer to the starting point for your next trekking adventure through the jungle and mangroves of Ream National Park. Take a break with a picnic served under the shade of the lush canopy as you savor the sights and sounds of this steaming humid jungle. Head onwards through large sandy clearings, fallen logs and curious locals until you find a boat keeper's house situated on the northern most extremity of the National Park. From here, embark on a traditional sampan and go on an interesting boat ride along Prek Toeuk Sap River. Today's adventure finishes with a 2.5 km trek through the jungle for the final leg of the day, back to your tented paradise.

Awake to the sounds of the waves crashing against the shore. Koh Sampouch is particularly tranquil early in the morning, the perfect time for a walk along the beach. Breakfast will be served in the camp. Enjoy the entire day free at leisure to relax on the beach. An optional trek to Kbal Chhay Waterfall and time spent at the rapids can be arranged for a half day. Lunch and dinner in the camp.

Early morning after breakfast, check out of your tents and leave on a morning beach walk that allows you to discover Koh Sampouch Beach in full. The gentle walk involves some light climbing over trees and rocks. Your destination is the Ream Navy Base village, where lunch awaits you in a local seafront restaurant.

After your meal, transfer back to Phnom Penh.
