Day 1 – Arrive at Dalat – Kayaking Tour A vehicle transports you around 10 km from Dalat to the boat launch. From here you trek out to the kayak launch which is only accessible by foot or boat. This trek can be modified to suit your fitness level. After reaching the kayaks you spend the remainder of the day exploring the many inlets and secrets spots on the lake only accessible by boat. After about 2 hours of exploring, you make your way out to the far end of the lake for a picnic- style lunch in which you enjoy having many fruits and vegetable grown in the Dalat area, prepared by our guide. After lunch you explore the far end of the lake, which still has much of its jungle canopy intact and is one the most popular spots in Vietnam for bird watching. Then, you slowly make your way back to the boat launch from here, enjoying more great views of the lush pine forested and jungle areas that border the lake. This fantastic trip is one that can be enjoyed by those of any fitness levels. It is a great day out for those who love to be on the water. The lake is great for swimming as well. Overnight at Novotel Dalat hotel Next, the second rappel is into water at the base of a waterfall. The third rappel is a 15 meter drop into a stream – it’s exhilarating to say the least. Lunch is at the bottom of the waterfall. After lunch, continue navigating your way down the canyon and enjoy the natural water slides before heading out of the canyon.
