Dive Locations: Dive centers offering PADI Scuba Diving Courses are located on both sides of the peninsula:
- In the Andaman Sea: Phuket and Khao Lak to reach the world's famous Similan Islands, Surin Islands, and Phi Phi Islands spots as well as Koh Racha, Anemone Reef, and Richelieu Rock. Trang and Krabi to board towards Hin Mouang, Hin Daeng, Koh Kradan, Koh Ma, etc.
- In the western part of the Gulf of Siam : Koh Tao, Koh Phan Ngan, Chumporn, and Koh Samui are the gateway to Angthong National Marine Park, Northern Pinnacle, Japanese Garden, The Twins, and Shark Point.
- In the eastern part of the Gulf of Siam which also offers good waters accessible from Pattaya (Koh Hu Chang, Koh Phai, and Koh Larn) and the Koh Chang National Marine Park islands including Koh Maak and up to the Cambodian coast.
Qualified Instructors:
Diving centers are including the services of experienced professional PADI Dive Masters & Instructors, always multilingual and often westerners.
Dive Equipment:
Scuba equipment from Sea Quest, Scuba Pro, Reef Master, etc.
Note: A full range of dive gear could also easily be purchased in the excellent dive shops of Pattaya and Phuket.
Dive Climate:
The average water temperature is 28°C/78°F and Thai waters have an amazing variety of aquatic life throughout the year. However, Thailand's dive seasons on each coast are varied: Diving on the Andaman side is possible from November to April. Diving in the Gulf of Siam is recommended from November to March for the on its eastern part and from February to May for its western part.
