Detailed Tour Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrive Vientiane – city tour L,D
Arrive Vientiane, We transfer with mini bus to hotel. After lunch visit of Hor Phakeo Museum, built in 1565 as a personal place of worship for King Saysetthathirath housed the Emerald buddha (Phakeo), Wat Sisakhet ,built in 1818 by King Anouvong and having survived the attacks by the Siamese, this is the oldest standing temple in Vientiane.Patuxay(Victory Gate ), built in the 1960s to commemorate those who died in past wars. Climb to the top for a panoramic view of the city.ThatLaung Stupa, built in 1566 by King Saysetthathirath, is said to contain relics of the Lord Buddha himself.Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Vientiane.

Day 2 - Vientiane – Kong Lor Trek B,L,D
Morning, we drive to Thakhek, Khamouan Province. After checking into your guest house you will have some time to relax before your local guide joins you. Your trek now begins into protected forest area with impressive virgin rainforest. Your guide will teach you about the forest, its wildlife and the forest products that local people collect. Stopping along the way your guide will organize a picnic on route to the impressive Na Sa Nam waterfall. This waterfall is approx 50 meters high and very spectacular. In the late afternoon you will return to your guest house for an overnight stay in Ban Na Hin, with time to explore the local market and town. Overnight in Ban Na Hin in guest house.

Day 3 - Kong Lor Trek B,L,D
Following breakfast drive 30 minutes to the Nam Hin Boun river where get the local boat to Ban Kong Lor village. After exploring the village, you now walk with local guides to the cave entrance through a protected forest area. Using local boat you will travel the 7.5 km through the cave to the valley beyond, stopping to take two short walks to observe stalactites and other limestone formations within the cave. Following a picnic lunch you will return to Ban Konglor for your overnight homestay. In the evening, the villagers will organise a traditional baci ceremony for you to welcome you and wish you good luck! Overnight in Ban Konglor in home stay.

Day 4 - Kong Lor - Takhek B,L,D
Leaving the village, you will return to Ban Na Hin where you get your private mini bus to drive to Thakek city. Arrive at the end of afternoon to check in the hotel. Overnight in Thakek.

Day 5 - Takhek – Savannakhet visit B,L,D
After breakfast, drive for 120 to Savannakhet, you check in the hotel and relax time befor the lunch. In the afternoon go to visit, around lovely Nong Lom Lake , learning about the villagers' relationships with the towering emerald forest. walk to Ban Tat village to explore and learn about village life. Meet the locals and join in. Here we will gain an insight into the spiritual heart of Savannakhet, Tat Ing Hang Stupa, where the peaceful Buddhist atmosphere will enchant you. Return end afternoon to Savannakhet. Overnight in Savannakhet.

Day 6 - Savannakhet - Pakse B,L
Morning, transfer for Pakse on Road N.13 South which takes about 3 hours.On arrival, check in the hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Pakse.

Day 7 - Pakse – Biking – Tad Fan B,L,D
Morning we start cycling from Pakse city to Tad Fan Resort .On the way you will pass through the Bolaven Plateau,the rice volcanic soils and cool climate of the Bolaven Plateau produce some of Arabica coffees in the world. Arrival at Tad Fan resort at noon for breathing views of the water fall. After lunch free at leisure to visit area around the waterfalls Dong Houa Sao NBCA. Overnight at Tad Fan Resort.

Day 8 - Tad Fan – Biking – Tad Lo - Pakse B,L,D
Morning, we start cycling through Bolaven Plateau to Tadlo resort (60Km). On arrival after lunch, free at leisure possible to do elephant riding. Then take the truck back to Pakse. Overnight in Pakse.

Day 7 - Pakse – Wat Phou – Don Khone B,L,D
Morning, embark on boat to navigate on Mekong to Champassak and then drive to Wat Phou (The acient khmer Temples). After lunch we drive to Done khone Island. Overnight at Done khone Island.

Day 10 - Don Khone – Don Det – Lipi waterfalls - Pakse B,L,D
There is bridge connecting Don Khon to Don Det, in the morning we go cycling to visit the small island Don Det. In afternoon, we visit Don Khon and go to visit Li pi Waterfall at the end afternoon we back to Pakse by Private Van. Overnight in Pakse.

Day 11 - Pakse B
Departure Pakse.
