Office Staff
Daniel de Gruiter - Adventure Department Manager (Cambodia)
Daniel grew up in Holland with only one goal: Living in Asia and being involved in adventure travels. From early on he was interested in Asia because of his Indonesian roots. He studied and worked in Macau and Bali before coming to Cambodia and joined Exotissimo Travel in 2006 to manage the Adventure Department in Cambodia and is also doing product management. Only 27 years of age, he's very energetic and it makes him one of the youngest members at the Exotissimo Team. Most of the time he's not in the office but between the locals, paddy fields and cows designing new trekking and cycling itineraries, something his wife doesn't fully appreciate. He loves the job, loves the life, and loves to share the passion of adventure traveling with you!
Jean-Baptiste - North Thailand Operations Manager (Thailand)
Having spent the most of his life in Western Africa before starting working in the tourism industry in Thailand in 2004, Jean-Baptiste learned to appreciate the contact with Mother Nature and outdoor activities since his childhood. Previously handling product development at Exotissimo Bangkok, he decided heading back to fresher air with the opening of Exotissimo Chiang Mai in 2006 - which better choice than Northern Thailand for this elephant lover?
Brian Smith - Adventure Department Manager (Vietnam)
Hamish Keith – Thailand Adventurer
Hamish may be our MD in Thailand but he still has time to get out and personally direct our adventure programs in the Land of Smiles. Starting his travel career in the early '90's as a bicycle tour leader, Hamish has cycled, trekked, kayaked and climbed all over Southeast Asia before settling in Bangkok. Far from being tied to the office, he's the man on the ground ensuring every tour operates exactly as it should… perfectly.
Jean Loup - Adventure Manager (Laos)
Jean Loup was born in the South West of France in the Pyrenees. Enjoying adventure sports from a very early age, his passions are skiing, sea kayaking, rafting and trekking.
